Project Potpourri
The
book emerged from a call-out in 2023 to artist collectives across the
globe. It is a conversation with and between collectives, a window into
artist-led practices: a snapshot in time. It probes ideas of what an
artist collective might be, why they form, how they operate and the
significance of collective practices at a particular juncture in our
ecological, socio-political and digital lives.
It
features 23 international collectives with members from over 17
countries including Australia, Kazakhstan, India, United Kingdom,
Finland, Austria, United States of America and Canada. It includes
contributions from Dr. John Wright, Pragya Bhargava, Sally Stenton and
Svetlana Atlavina.
